Meet Joachim
Joachim is unique. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience in Lean operations and professional services, he knows his way around the shop floor and the board room alike. He has successfully applied Lean principles across a wide range of industries.
Prior to founding his own practice, Joachim spent 7 years with McKinsey & Company, most recently in the role of a Lean Manufacturing Expert. His distinctive problem solving skills combined with a deep passion for sustainable change, leadership development and capability building have earned him a reputation for being an extraordinarily effective coach, counselor, and thought partner to both frontline employees and C-level executives.
Besides being a trained cabinet maker, Joachim holds an Engineering degree from Rosenheim, Germany and an MBA from UBC, Vancouver and CEIBS, Shanghai. He lives with his wife and two boys in Foothill Ranch, California and enjoys mountain biking and restoring vintage cars when he is not helping clients to be more successful.
